National Read Across America Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at YES Prep, as students from our elementary schools had the opportunity to come together and celebrate the power of reading. The annual observance takes place every year on March 2nd.

At YES Prep, we firmly believe that reading is a fundamental building block of academic success, and we seek to instill a love of reading in all of our students. We were thrilled to see so many of our elementary students embracing the joy of reading!

Our classrooms and libraries were filled with the sound of giddy students reading to one another, discussing their favorite books, and having read-aloud sessions led by our dedicated teachers.

We recognize that a strong foundation in reading is the key to unlocking a lifetime of learning and academic achievement. That's what National Read Across America Day is all about, and why we remain committed to promoting literacy in all of our classrooms, every day of the year.

We hope that you'll take a moment to browse our gallery of photos from the day and see for yourself the impact made towards our elementary students.
